Want to make your agent sound more human, or restrict it from discussing certain topics? The secret lies in the System Instructions.
Step 1: Define the Persona
Instead of just saying "You are a support agent," try:
"You are an enthusiastic and helpful support agent named Sarah. You love using emojis and always end sentences with a positive note."
Step 2: Set Restrictions
Clearly state what the agent should not do:
"Do not discuss competitor pricing." "Do not provide financial advice." "If you don't know the answer, politely ask the user to email [email protected]."
Step 3: Use Formatting

- Use Bold for emphasis.
