Testing in the Playground

The Playground is an interactive testing environment built directly into your Agent's configuration page. It allows you to simulate a full WhatsApp conversation—including voice notes and images—while tweaking your agent's settings in real-time.

Step 1: Access the Playground

  1. Navigate to AI Agents in the sidebar.
  2. Click on the agent you want to test (or create a new one).
  3. The Playground is the chat interface located on the left side of the screen.

Step 2: Simulate Real Interactions

The Playground is designed to mimic the WhatsApp experience:

  • Text: Type messages just like a customer would.
  • Voice: Click the Microphone icon to record and send audio messages. Your agent can listen and respond!
  • Media: Use the Paperclip icon to attach images. Test if your agent can recognize products or read documents.

Step 3: Real-Time Tuning

The Right Panel allows you to adjust settings without leaving the chat:

  • Settings Tab: Modify the System Prompt (personality) or Temperature (creativity).
  • Knowledge Base Tab: Switch or update the connected data source.
  • Save Changes: Click "Save Settings" and the agent in the Playground will immediately use the new configuration.

Step 4: Advanced Tools

  • Model Switcher: Use the dropdown at the top center to switch between AI models (e.g., Gemini Flash for speed vs. Gemini Pro for complex reasoning).
  • Token Details: Click on "Token details" below any AI response to see the exact cost (usage) of that interaction.
  • Clear History: Click the Trash icon (top right) to reset the conversation and start fresh.

Conclusion

Use the Playground to refine your agent's persona and accuracy before connecting it to a real WhatsApp number.
